Annual Hazara Awards Night 2019

SABA's Annual Hazara Awards Night is all about celebrating the achievements of exemplary students both the HSC and University streams. The 2019 Awards Night came back much stronger with more content, speakers, and award recipients.

A host of incredible keynote speakers for the night included; Professor William Maley, Dr Ali Reza Yunespour, Dr Ali Azimi, Shaheda Yaqubi and Nahid Kermani; inspired many students and their parents with their academic journey.

Many students were commended for their academic achievements, with a special video presented to the top HSC Award Winner, Shaheda Yaqubi. University Students also received awards for their Graduate Journey and SABA wishes them the best of luck in their future endeavours.

Special Entertainment was also included in the agenda, with Renowned Afghan performers, Hussain Dalla and Hatif Haidary presenting a wonderful illustration of traditional Afghan instruments, music and culture.

The event wrapped up with a Panel Discussion with our Guest Speakers and Highest HSC Award Winner.

SABA is currently preparing for the 2020 Annual Hazara Awards Night, held in Auburn Town Hall on the 29th of February, 6:30pm.
